In this day and age we are always one the go finding ourselves busier and busier. After a long work day we come home and often flood our minds with television, video games, social media, etc. Although this is okay we should strive to occasional detox our minds. This can help elevate stress and allow us to live in the moment. Each person is unique in what they enjoy doing and want to do however everyone can benefit from some simple and easy methods. Some great ways to detox your mind include:
Going for a walk in nature. Find a quiet place and enjoy the walk it's self. Bring friend and chat without tech distractions.
Make a low-tech day. Keep your television, computer, cellphone, and other electronics off.
Take a bath.
Read a new book.
Stretch at home.
Write it out
These are just some ways that we can clear the excess clutter from our minds. By detoxing our minds regularly we can increase energy, focus, and attention. We can become more happier with less stress and worries of the daily. We cannot control the world around us but we control who we are and what we are doing.
